* Executive Chairman and Vice President of the Southern District & Churches Cricket League for 10 seasons
* Delegate, Committee Member, Executive Chairman and Director of the Victorian Metropolitan Cricket Union (VMCU).
* Chairman of the South East Cricket Region. Keith still held several of these positions at the time of his passing. Keith was also a Life Member of the Oakleigh District Footballers Princes Park Cricket Club, the Southern District & Churches Cricket League, the Southern District & Churches Cricket Umpires Association and an honorary Life Member of Salesian Old Boys Cricket Club. The best Player in the Southern District & CCL's Menzies Shield Grand final receives the Keith Mackay Medal. Players spoke of his contribution to the game in our part of the cricket world and as they left to start play one of them said that above all he was a mate.
